Explore the objects collection

The Wee Museum of Memory looks after thousands of everyday treasures donated by the public. As we work towards museum accreditation, we’re making more of our collection available to explore online, with new records added regularly through our active cataloguing programme.

Our collection is full of familiar objects from the not-so-distant past: National Dried Milk tins, Old Spice aftershave, old woodworking tools, and kitchen gadgets from days gone by. Together, they reflect the joys, quirks, and shared experiences of 20th-century life. You might find yourself remembering childhood sweets, fashions, or the feel of an old school jotter. Wherever you’re from, there’s likely something here that feels familiar.

Enjoy exploring the collection. If a particular object brings back a memory, we’d love to hear your story!
