A ‘Summer to Remember’ at The Wee Museum of Memory

Join us for a fun summer of children activities at The Wee Museum of Memory, in Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, Edinburgh.

Drop in to play with old toys, take part in craft activities, do our Bobby’s Heritage Trail around the shopping centre showcasing objects from the past (Goody bag if completed!), and have a shot in our recording studio (bookable). Meet Bobby the toy dog (100yrs old this year)!
He would love to see you!

Bobby's heritage trail

Bobby's Heritage Trail will take you on a tour around Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, showcasing old artefacts and photos — you might be looking for an old way of playing music at the HMV shop or perhaps an old way of typing at Waterstones the bookshop?

When & where

Everyday, 10.30am-4pm weekdays, and 11am-4pm weekends (starting Monday 12th July).
No need to book, just drop in at The Wee Museum of Memory to play with old toys and do crafts, get your Bobby’s Heritage trail clipboard and sheet and you are good to go!
Free event.

We will shortly be running introductory sessions in our recording studio which will be bookable in advance. Updates to come soon.

Please note – we are currently working under Covid guidelines which might mean a short wait if our capacity is reached at any one time.

Many thanks to the businesses throughout Ocean Terminal who are supporting Bobby’s Heritage Trail.

This event has been funded by Museums Galleries Scotland as part of the Scottish Government’s Get into Summer programme, supporting opportunities for children and young people to socialise, play and reconnect this summer.
