The Living Memory Association

Edinburgh's Reminiscence Project • Established 1986

Liberton lives

For the purpose of this publication, the Living Memory Association brought together individuals and groups who were interested in sharing their memories and experiences of growing up, living and working in Greater Liberton.

This booklet was made possible thanks to a grant from the South Edinburgh Local Development Committee, part of the City of Edinburgh Council.

This project has allowed us to record valuable information about life in the Greater Liberton area in days gone by. The book will, we trust, be an enjoyable read, a celebration of people's memories and a useful tool for reminiscence work.

The book is available to download here (PDF, 66 MB).
